I assume this is from just a book called the bible. What is this verse? Do you mine sharing?

Good on you for looking it up JP! lots of love sent your way tree bro ;) the door is open walk thru it, he is the light unto your path

It looks like you know Jesus to a point, but if you find in your travels that he is God, cinch up your saddle and hang on tight it will be the greatest swing of your life ;)

JP,
I just saw a lot in you that i agree with and admire. The Jesus thing is the only part that i don't agree with that's all. It only bothered me a little cause i was on an admiring ride learning about you. Look back at how much you have changed. ..... consider the possibility that u don't know everything yet. Consider that maybe Jesus was a hypersenstive person like you, but more.....God's son sent to teach the world and sacrifice himself to save us.
When a person like yourself loves all others so much; would you ever pretend to be the Christ? I think not. No one that loves so much would ever lie and deceive others. I don't want to debate this and turn this into another religion thread.
Oh, the CCA i mentioned is not a college. I should not have mentioned it. Only 5 people or so know what it is.
i sent you a private message last night too, i think.

I've been viewed as crazy since i was a kid, catching snakes or wildlife, jumping off bridges, etc. People use the crazy word when they see someone do something that they wouldn't do. some People also get jealous when they watch someone do something they wouldn't do themselves.
You do the big swings and jumps because you are confident, not crazy. Just like how i tend to rig big. People need to not get jealous when someone else has skills and confidence to do things that they themselves can't do.

I had this poster on my wall as a teenager. So inspiring. Then he died aND I thought that maybe he wasn't a good role model

Hey, Kevin.

I just finished watching three of the videos about Dan Osman. He was an incredible climber. He was also human, and it seems like the thing that killed him was a lapse in good judgement, which is a cautionary tale.

On the day he set the freefall record, he was really well prepared, and had plenty of folks around him to render support in his efforts. In the video about the day that he died, which was not the same day that he set the record, they said he was too tired after breaking the record to pull all of his ropes down.

They said, if I recall correctly, that he left his ropes hanging FOR THREE WEEKS. He went back after three weeks with just his one good buddy, to gather up his gear. This is when he made his fatal decision, and instead of sticking to the plan, and gathering up the gear, chose to attempt one last jump. The gear failed him.

I got an opinion from you early on in my attempts to learn to climb about this very issue, and you taught me that it is really bad form to leave my gear in the tree overnight. I really appreciated that advice, and try to follow it, especially where it concerns my primary life support.

It must have been a huge shock to hear of his death. What a loss for his family. I think they said he had a twelve year old daughter at the time.

I'm with you on liking to climb on two ropes, for many reasons. The bit of extra time it takes to set up more than pays for itself in the ease of positioning and the added level of safety. But I digress. Thank you again for your advice.

Tim

I use to follow dan Osman videos back in the day. What I recall was after the successful jumps on the last stunt; in an interview i watched, he said that he was going to stop jumping, climbing, swinging for a long while. he said he was going too fast and too strong and he wanted to give his guardian angels a rest and he said that he wanted to spend time with his family..... then , many weeks later he went back to get the gear and decided to do one more jump

I have done loads of mad things in the past, I was on powerkites on my twenties, that was a right buzz tearing up the beach at 70kmh, I was doing the rope swings 25yrs ago.

My body would be pulling muscles these daze and I might have a bowel problem, I prefer doing 200kmh in a sporty number, nice tunes blasting and smooth road, it's an age thing :)

Hey Johnny- have you ever heard of Dan Osman, you remind me a lot of him. You need to check out his videos, especially the fatal jump.
Love you Brother!
Yea I have heard of him and I know hes dead. I know I will die as well. Are you interested in why I will die and the responsibility that will come with my death?

I think it is time to show people what my purpose here on this Earth is.
