Yo Tom , you don't have to go there . It is hard to win the ITCC . Anybody who thinks different doesn't have a clue and takes away from the people who have tried and failed to win it , I'm one of those . Put up or shut up . This isn't about Ho;;y and myself , this is about a chump who blows his own horn . I enjoyed the thread till I read his garbage . I'm old school and the ITCC is no joke when it comes to the Masters Challenge . Your either a great climber or a good climber. Take down test ? what level of IQ is that ? I'm just letting you know , straight up , Mark C's string of Master Challenges in a row will never be broken , that is a fact .
Congrats to Mark for winning . Congrats to all climbers who ever had the time and nerve to compete as well . Thats what makes a Champ feel special , knowing everyone wants the crown and tried there best . Best Man Wins . Any trash talk , call me or start another one . Don't take away from this thread anymore . I'm biting my pen real hard .
 
What a week! I get on the plane for Austin at 6:30 am. I'll have time to edit my pics, I just downloaded them now.

time to go and find some Chicago Pizza now.

There is something that needs to be made clear...the ISA has nothing to do with enforcing or writing any of the ANSI standards. They handle the paperwork and organizing of the meetings. There is and never has been any influence from ISA in any ANSI workings.

Years ago in Minnesota a fellow tied into a TIP with his rope out from the union. when he made a swing the branch cracked and he started to fall. The limb didn't shatter it peeled so he had time to do a sloth hang from a lower limb. There were anxious minutes as the bucket fired up and flew to the rescue.

The judges gathered and we all talked about the TIP. None of us wanted to say anything and make 'trouble'.

We, and the climber most of all, were lucky. After that during judges training we told everyone that they had veto power when it came to safety. We setup a clear procedure for notifying the Head Judge of the TCC too. All judges were advised to wear whistles. The whistle was ONLY used to signify a life threatening issue which meant 'Freeze!' to everyone.

I've witnessed, and photographed, too many safety issues at chapter and ITCC events that have been poo poo'd. WHAT!? Of all the venues that we operate in this should be the place where we shine! Inside the ring is the workplace. Whatever goes on inside the ring is a model for the workplace. It's sad to hear about safety issues that aren't changed. I always thank people for pointing out safety issues. I already have too many 'regret tapes' to play back now.
 
Riggs, I just got back from Chicago, and I can assure you, I know what it takes for these guys and gals to compete, and there is a certain type of competitor that rises above the rest. All of the competitors are there to compete, but perhaps the difference between them is that some are still learning that focus that Mark most definitely has. I am in awe of him and many of the others that have the talent and mindset to perenially compete and win at ITCC.

In no way did I want to take away from this thread, in fact I was just trying to have fun with you and Holly. You may be very different people, but you both come across as pretty similar online. Hence the Death Match joke.

Congrats to Mark and Josephine. I'm going to post some pics asap.

Is a job considered fast, just cause you bury the gropund crew getting the tree down, and then take have a pile that takes forever ripping apart those nasty nest piles of brush? Or do you put a litle down, let em run in and chip, put a little down let em run in and chip? What kind of climber/bucket guy are you?
 
Anyday of the week . Listen , I've heard enough of your sh*t. I have crazy work 24 - 7 . To say that you can take a tree down faster is retarted. Any fool can slam a crew , a Pro works with them . I saw your video when you said the ground guys were rookies and ran and the log spun out of control . Tie it off get to know your ground crew , don't wait till you FK up to realize they are rookies . ThaT SH*T DON'T HAPPEN TO ME .Loud enough? Mark would smoke you in a tree with out a rope and saddle , and so would I . Take your thirty pack and suck it up , and be glad you met a real class act tree climber like Mark Chisholm. I'm glad I met him , and many other great tree climbers . Clock puncher .

I doubt it, not even on your best day. I am glad I met Mark, I liked working with him was a blast jokin and getting it done. I doubt I'd like work with someone like you, you seem to be the angry all the time jerk.

Whats a clock puncher have to do with anything? I'm subing so I work for myself in a way. I choose who I'll work for and when.

Either way, I've seen whats rated the best and I've seen what other states seem to consider the best. I was only impressed once, too bad me and that company could not of came to a cost agreement I'd of liked to try it out there.

What the hell, Mark knows I'm just busting his nads. Mark also knows I work my arse off when it's time to do the job. He also knows what I can do, and that I'm not full of crap I really do know what I'm doing.

Mark won...lets celebrate with him. Anyone who knows him knows that he doesn't need help standing on his own two legs.

If this garbage talk continues the thread will lock and my foot is going up some hind ends. Timeouts and dunce caps are effective for children I wonder if they are for adult children.

Tom!!!!i happen to agree! and RARELY engage in such drivel!! I have been a friend of Mark and his family for a long time, so it just kind of got under my skin a little.
I get sick of this kind of stuff as well wich is often times why i stay away for extended periods of time!!
I sometimes just do not get the banter on here?!? it is exasperating at times. When i checked in last night after a long time away and saw a certain someone up to their same old tricks i popped my cork a little.its old hat and not funny to me any more!

actually, i was just thinking how awesome it would be to have a parade for Mark. Once again he made New Jersey proud. The only way to top that and win the affection of my fellow jersians is to murder the Jersey Shore crew. i am thinking about it.

Seriously Mark. Youre the only sport oriented person i cheer for in Jersey.
