DIY tree work just keeps getting more and more advanced. These guys had my stomach feeling sick the whole time watching. Only because I know what can happen, they don't...

I'm speachless.

I got a reply back from a customer I gave a bid to. It is a front yard Hybrid/Cottonwood to be removed. 1 to 1.5 hours with a crane. He tells me that his son-in-law insists he can do it with out incident.

Unless his son-in-law has tree work experience, I believe they will get hurt and/or damage property.

So, I found this video to send to my customer.

They're still in the learning curve, and should stick with what they normally do. Though it appears someone there knew how to set a line high enough to pull the tree.

Probably biggest mistake was they expected the tree to fall through the others. Go to plan B.
