Isc triple action snap failure to close.

Look, Listen and Feel all your life-support connections, connecting, and for sensibility, quit using a faulty life-support product.

I read up on the double action snap and learned that they can open when the snap is compressed against the body. I'm not sure which is better/worse. Does this put us at caribiners and quickies? What are you using?

Did he get back to you with batch or production run numbers (wonky v.s. new improved) - I could be wrong but that should be available as part of CE cert process I think. Personally a Saturday project today was to cut out the ISC triple snaps I had and render them unserviceable (and a buncha funny shapes) with a sledge (and a beer). Once you introduce doubt into the system and yet another thing to always have to check up on, I check out of stuff like this. Check my prussik cord before I tie up, but never had it not work if it gets clanked against a trunk . . . so in my risk matrix, not worth the anxiety if it's gonna be fussier than a triple locking biner. Some of the above experience makes me nervous, esp. if I can't ID new stuff from old stuff I might have. Back to ISC doubles for me.

Double-safety biners, newly a quickie, and flip line with single-safety before opening gate snap-hook.

I use a double action steel on a wire core. With the oldschool big dee rings it can roll and open the dual action. For rope I use steel oval carabiners.
I’m kinda pissed I bought a lemon. I wanted a Tri lock carabiner gate isc snap, but I got the bunk one instead (I either screwed up ordering, or they screwed up filling the order) regardless my fault for not sending it back. I instead used it, for a few climbs and it jammed on me, just like the old one.
Now I’m stuck with it, hardly used.

Never replied with info on how to tell new batch from old "good from bad" on this thread as far as I have seen. Turns out I have three to cut off lanyards and short positioning lines and replace with biners.
