is this the right filling angle for my treegaffs?

i just hand filled my gaffs today to a nice sharp point and i was wondering if i screwed it up. tell me what you think. any concerns?

I hope you dont climb any softwoods, you'll never get your foot back out of the tree.

Did you do it by hand, or with a grinder? Looks like the tip is blued, could be killing the temper on the steel, not to mention a tip like that is going to dull very quickly.
 
Looks perfect for oak but yeah, pulling that back out of pine or tulip or something would be pretty annoying. Think of it more like a fat, rounded wedge than a sharp point.
