Introduction

The picture of the face wedge on the end of the bar is a trick I learned from watching faller Patrick Lacey…’Cept he was doing it on man size trees.
 
The bougainvillea exploding with flowers next to it is cool/interesting. I once saw large dead Eucalyptus entirely covered with pink bougainvillea, pretty gnarly.
 
It’s actually a 2075…

That leader on the pine was to the R side. Put a cable in it to be sure…bet it would have been OK with just a sizzy or tapered face.
 
Some kind of Euc I am not familiar with. Thick bark like a cedar I had to chop off. Hinged more than most Euc.

Started with removing lower limbs. Knot in the hinge..

I could barely reach this one and wanted it to swing a little, so I no-faced it…it had a big nasty wound, dead and dry wood there so it didn’t swing. Probably would have broken off, which is why we took it down…kept breaking and was leaning towards the house.
