Hey guys im considering possibly purchasing a grapple trailer next year. Anyone have experience purchasing /having one built and have a link or reference?

I'm not a project guy nor I'm position to get into a project so building my own isnt a route I'll be going.

Thanks in advance guys

You will find the most of what you're looking for in Canadian classifieds. Metavic seems to be the best out there. Look for one with a winch as they are invaluable and very powerful as they run off the same hydraulics as the boom.

I have seen a few dealers from Vermont advertising trailers with log loaders. When things slow down this winter I'm going to look more into them, they seem to be a good way to go for smaller companies.
Yeah I bought a 3/4 truck as my personal vehicle recently and have bee considering this option. The trailers can by built boxed up, so all material can be loaded right into the trailer. Imagine manageable sized jobs where everything can be handled by your pick up and trailer.

Just be careful with weight. Most bumper pull pickups have a 10-12K hitch mounted on them. It's very easy to over load it and not really know until you get stopped!
