Incontinent Husky

A buddy of mine has a Husky that leaks lots of chain oil. It's either a 36LE or 41LE. His manual covers both models. I think he has only used it a few times. Any thoughts on why this thing spews? I think he has checked the oil ports on the bar. I know there have been other threads on similar problems but I couldn't find them.

Where is it leaking, out the oil port and down the side of the saw?

I'll see him tomorrow and will take a look.

Make sure the port in the saw and the oil hole in the bar line up when the chain is tensioned and the bar holes and groove are free from dirt.
It may be a venting problem also.

I've had some oil leaks on Huskys that were between the case halves.It's a lot of work tearing them down that far to install a new gasket but a good rainy day job.
