I agree, Rocky. Sounds like a dinky tree...and very light wood when dead. I'd guy the tree, and climb it. Or use a 12-16 foot orchard ladder and pole saw to do all but the top 5-10 feet. Then, maybe attach a pull line, and slash cut the top so it falls straight down, and away from you. I've used a Power Pruner while on an orchard ladder, but that is certainly delicate.
