Myself being a noobie groundsman that was one of the few things drilled into me.

A. Keep the climbers lines free of brush.

B. Always be aware of the ropes, look behind you every so often as you drag and be sure you don't catch a rope in the brush you are dragging. Always give a look before feeding the chipper as by that time most likely it's to late...the rope is as good as gone.
