implemax grapple

Just looking for some input on these....Ive heard they were great grapples but I know they are not made anymore. We have a ryans 48/60 now (not impressed) Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Jay the implemax is not in production anymore. They were good but you could not control the rotation. I think in the later years they started putting rotation on them. The ryans grapple in my opinion is the same if not a little better. What are the downsides of the ryan? I had a hood jr on my t180 I think multitek bought them out and it was good.

I loved the Implemax (manual rotation) that I ran, but yes it was very similar to a Ryan's. Why are you unimpressed with the Ryan's? I did find out (the hard way) with an Implemax that you could twist it around enough to pinch a hose and burst it.

After replacing the hoses from the rotator at least 8 times I called Ryan's. The grapple would slam them into the push bar and share them off. They built me a couple brackets ( for a fee) and we put them on. It's a big improvement. Last week in the middle of a not fun removal job, the unit started pissing fluid from one of the seals.....called Ryan's, they mailed me a seal kit (for a fee) and also another guard for the top hydro hoses (for a fee). Installed it this afternoon. I complained to the guy at Ryan's and he said the heavier rotator is better......anyway I want to get another grapple for our other skid steer and I came across the implemax. This one has hydraulic rotation.
