I\'m burnt out.....

For the past two weeks all I have done is storm damage and repairing lines. Its been pretty exciting to say the least. Those 17 hour days can get to you though. They figure our area got hit with the force of a category 1 hurricane. We haven't seen wind like that in over 30 years.
Here's a little of what we had to put up with....

I caught a similar flash last week at night on the same stretch of road. The freaking switches on two phases would kick out until the flashover. My partner and I were 40 feet away and were blind for about three minutes.

Don't tell me my job isn't exciting /forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I was coming back from checking on a tree in the West end of the city and I saw our forestry crew on Wallace Terrace, one guy that's certified for chain saw... three years ago, no climbing and another guy tagging along towing a snowmobile trailer for branches I'm guessing. /forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Cool pics, I have them in my laptop and will use tham often to let customers know what can happen.

Thanks for posting the pictures BUK, they're great. I am going to print them for the guys at work. I was just back in New Brunswick and went out with some friends to a bar to see the two trailer park staff, Mr Lehi (not sure of spelling) and Randy, one of my friends had them sign his jacket several times,an the other paid a girl 10$ to pull out some of Randy's back hair. We had a great time.
