Wow, that's really neat.

Clearly the place for that event, they wont melt.

That site was cool, they get huge blocks of clear ice from that lake, like 4' odd thick, big chainsaw bar and cut out a block and lift it out ... wieghs tons.

Nice Spydie, plenty of uses for chainsaw too.

They also build near trees or put up plywood to keep sun/ wind off of the ice while carving and showing at this internationally teamed event.
