I went to little school today and had some fun

I'm burning them a DVD each to take home along with a little flyer on proper tree care.

Maybe the mums and dads might spread the word on what is right and see you dont have to spike your trims and top your trees.

The larger the piece you cut, the more dramatic the smash on the ground the more they cheered ... I still laugh.

We had a Q&A session and they were pretty smart, some of the questions were ...

Why didn't the chainsaw cut your leg?
Where do you buy your gear?
How do you learn to do that job?
Why did the branches die?
How did you know how much to cut it so you could break it off?

And the teachers have handed me 17 questions that need answering for the kids, they came up with em, some are pretty darn good, I should start a thread for some help!

"sorry I'm late home from school Mum, we had to sit around for hours waiting for this big bloke to get up a tree!"

Just digging mate, good work. Did you time it right so that you were there when the yummy mummies turned up?

Great Video, Mate. That must have been a blast. Good job for turning it in to something fun for the kids, while making it educational too. Way to promote the industry. Isn't it nice to get called Mr. Frei.

Kids are very impressionable and smart...They will remember the cool guy in the tree and PPE.. The only way to change society is work on the future...ie the kids. Nice work Ekka.

Thanks guys ... hey Rupe, I know I'm a big bloke but I do OK.

Problem is that I do 95% TD's, you know, spikes on and go for it, so footlocking, bodythrusting etc isn't really my gig.

I got a pantin, haven't used it for atleast 6 months.

Had them snap cuts sussed though. /forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif err, normally I would have one handed cut and chucked. /forum/images/graemlins/aaa.gif
