From his first posts back then...to this thread..Riggs is real.

Measuring contributions in YouTube videos doesn't make sense. YT is littered with more trash than treasure.

This is what YT collects:

48 hours of video are uploaded every minute, resulting in nearly 8 years of content uploaded every day

How much value is there? Probably not a lot.

Any way the first lesson I taught my son when I was In North Carolina and I saw you with your son ( you remember , when your line was around the corner and looked like a fuse , I should have lit it ) anyway . I told my son , as a lesson , I said , I didn;t buy a half a million dollar house up here to do tree work and look like an ahole( ask him ) . Wow this thread is fun to read, and I don't even know Mr Riggs. But from his posting here he seems like a guy who likes to ruffle a few feathers in code. We must have thick skin if we post pictures and videos of our work. I don't give two hoots what people think about my posts or pictures as I know what I do, the pictures don't always do justice to the actual work, maybe video is different. I personally won't post a video unless I willing to get bombed by a few. I will take all criticism for what I think it's worth, after all it won't really change my life unless I want it to. I love banter and trash talking like anyone I just will keep it clean on this forum out of respect. Where as people on this island up in their grill I will go. I love american football by the way although Riggs the Eagles with M.Vick are'nt doing much and Andy Reid needs a pasture. Get with the cheese and A.Rodgers, now that is momentum come playoffs. Riggs keep posting old boy us with thick skin can handle ya.Just a dude from the tropics. Paul.

I don't think every thread with a lot of activity signifies a huge deal relating to the subject or the subject matter but rather lots of posters show up at the same time to get together or just out of temporary boredom.

Subject tends to get beat to death then :-).

TD nah it was Mellor's arborists.com site, and yeah YT may have a lot of junk but putting one's work up there sure beats dissing someone else's efforts without showing (not fantasizing) anything better.
