That burly oak is the funniest looking tree I have seen; literally laughed out loudA few interesting ones from over the years.
These old weeping cherries always have very interesting root flares. Two of these in my new neighborhood and very incredible trees. Would love to figure out the cultivar. They don’t seem to be grafted?

Weird burl/growth on what I think was a pin oak during an inventory project. Not sure what could cause this; maybe Phomopsis?

Usually the joke is that we tree climbers have big balls but, man, I think that tree is braver than I am.A few interesting ones from over the years.
