i just bought a 394xp

these saws from what i know are even better then the 395s and take to muffler mods way better. look at the ridiculous price i got it for. $600 shipped to my door with a 32" bar and chain!

I don't understand. You admit to pulling weeds more than you work with trees. Why do you need a saw with such a big bar?

ahh my friend. stumps and the occasional felling job. i do both you see, trees and landscaping. we are one of those 2 in one companies.
we sometimes clean whole properties. we work the trees and do the lawns all in one days work.

I bought a used saw off ebay once. Once
-hanging on wall @ shop, with the other dead saws.

But, on a happier note: I have a 394 and a (newer) 395. Both are great and I actually like the 394 best. She and I have a long history and are friends... Maybe I will bury that one when it finally dies.

this saw wasnt dead when i got it. it just needed to be re tuned becuase i live at 2,000 feet above sea level. everything runs rich up here.

btw i just threw it in a 27" eucalyptus robusta log and how cow!! with the 32" bar it rips right through it likes its not even there!! its sporting a .404 sprocket with .63 chisel skip chain. gooood stuff

Stock 395 bring 450-550 here. Stock 394 goes for 350-450 here. Long as your happy is all that matters.

For that kind of money I have sold 066 woods ported saws for with 32" shipped.

To put this in perspective. My dealer has new 395xp with 24" b+c for $980.
