Im sorry I bent the fence.
Me and Jesus have to go back for the wood tommorrow.

They are terrible when they are soaked with water and piss on you when doing the bottom cut. Poplar piss is what we call it. Nice vid and liked the music.

I think I missed my point at the end. In my mind, I thought these stems could break from pulling on them. I know this wasnt pushing the limmits of the ropes...lol I was concerned that the Tree would break, the hinge had to be done right, nice and slow. Untill that tree is upright, im pretty scared. I admit it. My worst fear is sending a tree into the primaries. The whole street was connected to one big metal fence, it would have been a real horror had we hit those lines. Kudos to men and women who work around them daily. I could not

Ever stack wedges like this? Works good. Keep 'em from flying around and makes them run true!

Wait, why was that a removal? Don't you think a crown reduction, airspading, and soil amendment would have kept that beautiful specimen in the landcsape for another 15 years?
JK, nice work Jesse, nasty one!

Hey jesse,
you pull like a boy scout and cramp like a girl scout... JK ... LOL
(now we're not even)

Seriously though.. you didn't make this up.. you learned it on the internet... must be true..

comes a time to man up and step on the gas...

lol Daniel. the BIG trees I do are like branches from your jobs. I DO know my place. Powerlines had me freaked out LOL.
Again, I know my place and I appreciate the fact that you guys still let me come on here. I broke a rib today. The video should be awesome. EVERYTHING not to do lol. The end of the day. We loaded the wood from that Cottonwood and decided to do a 575 dollar tree at the end of the day. BAD idea. will be a long 2 month lesson I get to think about EVERY time i breath. Sleeping tonight will be...?

Greed man. Greed. 4 in the afternoon. full truck, tried to squeeze one more on. Thought it was a 10 minute tree. Tried to make it one. Now I have a broken rib. Ill post it if its watchable.
The smaller trees can hurt you too!

That is neat Tony, I'll have to give it a try.

We're you free climbing again? Darn it Jesse! It's the small ones that you gotta watch for. A cut here, a pole saw there. We'll at least your broken rib is a reminder for me to slow it down, and remember that there's always tomorrow, you greedy jerk. I think it would be good if you just do nothing and let that heal.

We're all trying to make a living.. I think its better to blame it on the primary culprit, fatigue... greed is very subjective and as a secondary cause, not much of a teacher here... I think we'd all be safer to get the lesson at the end of the day to take fatigue into consideration when deciding whether or not to take on another job, and also in HOW that job is done.

Any parent that's watched his toddler at the playground knows that fatigue is a HUGE safety factor and part of the problem is that it blurs one's judgment from even recognizing that performance is impaired.. When you are fatigued the odds of making a mental error or physical coordination error go WAY UP..

The cramps were the first sign.. once you start cramping, its TOO LATE... you should have taken some potassium, electrolytes etc earlier. Once you cramp, you can't get it back into the body fast enough to catch up... My teacher could do put a $3500 tree down, after working a full 8 hours on his steady job... he was a climbing machine, but as soon as he cramped, he was done... maybe make another couple cuts if he was just about finished, but he would never start another job or even another tree.

How many times has the crowd here chided me for using a skid steer, like its so unprofessional?... or for dropping trees that most would have had to rig or crane. Those are safety issues to me... When I saw you dicing up that log I cringed.. just the thought of cutting and loading that wood creates a physical "OH NO" reaction... (anything but that)..

What took hours in the heat and whooped two men, could have been done in minutes with a machine... then you'd have finished the next job by 4. Maybe even had enough energy left at the end of the day to have some fun..

Good luck healing... symphitum is a homeopathic which aids in bone knitting.. take lots of Vit D3 and Vit K3...
