lol Daniel. the BIG trees I do are like branches from your jobs. I DO know my place. Powerlines had me freaked out LOL.
Again, I know my place and I appreciate the fact that you guys still let me come on here. I broke a rib today. The video should be awesome. EVERYTHING not to do lol. The end of the day. We loaded the wood from that Cottonwood and decided to do a 575 dollar tree at the end of the day. BAD idea. will be a long 2 month lesson I get to think about EVERY time i breath. Sleeping tonight will be...?

I'm thinking the butt bounced up and hit you in the ribs...
glad it wasn't worse.
interesting cottonwood video, like seeing the XRR slings.
On the first limb being pulled around by hand, I thought, oh no, they should put a XRR sling on that tip and make a semi vertical speedline, use the tightening of the near vert speedline (attached to a truck
) to pull the limb away from the fence and it freely runs down the line and is committed to run the line and stay away from fence.
then your second limb, kinda had that set up i think, but just wasn't pulled tight enough fast enough.
I did a big Beech these last two days, used semi vertical speedline to a concrete anchor, tightened with truck, i was able to take side limbs off and have them pull away from house and on other side, pull away from a huge yew bush.
worked awesome and didn't shock my tree, nor no heat on the rings that anyone could feel. Cold.
