i cant decide?!

If to get a another butterfly II or try a new Harnesses out?

Thing is i real like the Butterfly II. Lasts a long time and is very comfy.

hmmmm what to do?

Matt.

I use a Treemotion and have never used a BF2. I always wait and wait to buy a new harness because I'm always curious if a new harness will come out soon or an improvement of an older model. Said that I like the TM.

Thats what im hoping, to test climb on one...

Im looking at the treemotion too.

But thay both look like thay have a lot going on and i dont know if i like that?

Is less more?

Bye the way tom where can i get a tree buzz t-shirt from??

Matt

Out of all the harnesses I've had the Treemotion is actually the quickest to fit with a big added plus that the webbing all stores away nicely, everything is snug and compact. Then you can spend some time customizing it which is easy to do and I find that part of the fun. The advantage of it being so popular too is that they are loads of pictures of it with different setups which will give you plenty of ideas. On the minus points I, like a lot of other people, find its durability suspect.
I have tried Toms Treeflex and it is a very comfortable harness although I have no idea what it's like when carrying a bigger chainsaw.

I've gone fron the cheapest saddle you can buy to the top of the line saddle with many saddles in between and I would have to say I like my treemotion the best out of all.

I would keep the bfll AND buy a new saddle.

I always have two saddles. My go to being a treemotion, my other one I experiment with different saddles. Currently I'm using a petzl swing or sit or whatever the heck it's called. I like it a lot more than I liked the petzl sequoia.

As far as saddles go, I've had em all, including the treeflex, ergo, sequoia, bfll, and a few weavers and others and I prefer my treemotion hands down

Can you borrow a TreeFlex to test climb?

I went from BFII to TF and like it a lot!

Keep in mind, the Tree Flex is NOT ANSI approved. Might come into play if you get workmens comp.

Why is it not approved? And whats the deal with the BFII, TM and Sequoia...in the Sherrill catalog it says they are all only rated to 15KN. Says they are certified to Europe's EN 813 and EN 358 standards. If this is true they would not meet minimum breaking strength of 5000lbs for ANSI. Thanks
