I new on this form. I have a 1989 gmc c7000 bucket truck I just purchased. I having trouble with hydraulic systems. The Outriggers work fine. I cannot get no pressure to the Boom cylinders. Any suggestions? Its a teco.

Is there ground controls for the boom, and a switch to select between ground and bucket?

Yes there is ground controls. That what I have been trying to use to activate to the cylinders. I not sure about a switch that I can see.

Does it have boom solenoid or manual hydraulic selector?

If it’s a solenoid check it isn’t sticking by connecting voltage lead to it and listening to see if it switches or not (Also make sure it has a working ground lead first) - if stuck give it a very light tap with a hammer with some tape on the face of the hammer and try again. If it doesn’t work will need replacing.

if it clicks then the fun part of tracing wires to the faulty connection or switch starts...

I believe it Electric solenoids. I have voltage going to the solenoid. I will try that tomorrow. Thanks for the info.

What bucket is it? There's no selector lever? Does it have an outrigger interlock?

Don't forget the possibility of a tool selector valve at the bucket controls.
