Husky Arborist saw

I run mine with a 9/16th ID tube. The best place to add it is about an inch below the existing tiny port, and angled downward at 30 degrees or so. A hole will need to be formed in the plastic cover. Make the tube the proper length so that it ends just short of the plane of the cover, to eliminate being burned. Retune carb, and be prepared to cut 25-40% faster than stock.

RB I have seen you telling the guys in the past about this muffler mod. How about a picture showing it on your 2139?

Well, the pics are way back in my archives...and, both of my ported mufflers were done in the wrong spot.....only wrong because they're in the lower corner, so that location of the hole in the plastic cover weakens it.

hey porter, is that a rockman helmet your wearing in your pic? i only ask because i just bought one with the earmuffs and face shield and was wondering how long they last.

The helmet is a husky arborist helmet, it was a hand down from my boss. I know that hes had it for 7 or 8 years. He modified the straps on it. But overall it's a good helmet.
