Husky 564xp fuel injected

These seem to be slowly trickling out. Anybody on here have one/try one?

I think it satisfies the perfect sweet spot for me. I use a 550xp for 90% of my ground cutting and 572xp for most of the rest (592xp on rare occasion). The 500i was always too much saw for what I cut on a regular.

I found some repair vids for the 500i that give insight into the innards. Apparently fuel pump is $$ and so is the injector (and the computer). Maybe the Husky is built similarly. Food for thought. How has the 500i treated you?

I never bought a 500i. I hummed and hawed about one for a bit, but after trying out a friend's I decided against it. Very nice saw, but I just don't have the use case for another big one.

What was the Canadian price for the 500i? I heard an American price and it was really high. Almost double a regular saw.

The 564xp certainly looks like an interesting saw and a big step for Husky working on the new generation of tools. I'm curious how it will compare to the new Stihl 400.1.

I run a 500i with a 28" all the time, including today. Great saw and never let me down in the number of years I've had it. "New" technology doesn't scare me off, and most of the time shows itself to be a real improvement.

I bought one about a month ago, our local shop had them really early. I haven't even used it yet! I'm a solo admin/field staff muni guy so it's rare that I can actually do tree work lately. It has a 24" bar, was hoping it would've come with a bigger bar but the shop wasn't willing to work with me on that. I'll eventually put a 28" light bar of some kind on it and more aggressive dogs, maybe a full wrap. Husky full wrap parts are so inexpensive compared to Stihl.
