Oh, so this is interesting. I told my wife today about how an Australian guy put up a form on treebuzz about whiners. I said that it had different check lists with feminine and gay references that you could choose depending on how whiney or pitiful you were. And I gave her the examples.

Then I said a lot of men had a problem with it.....

Then she cut me off. Saying "oh my gosh, people need to stop being so sensitive, "

I said , BINGO. Okay, I thought so.
 
But; all sensitive subjects will never be solved. This doesn't solve anything. It just shows there are both on each side. I'm glad there are people that look out for discrimination. I just think it has gone too far.

I wonder what Nora the tree warrior woman thinks of all of this. She's a buzz regular, or used to be. Doesn't really matter either way, but I just wonder.

I'll see if I can bring this to her attention and see if she cares to post anything.
 
I won't hate anyone because I disagree. I sure like you Tom. If anyone meets Tom in person, you will see immediately that he is a good hearted person.

I am guilty, especially in the past, of being mean to people on the buzz. My main dysfunction is that I used to see people as characters and not people, when it was in type. I still have a bit of problem with that.

When I met most tree guys in person I REALLY like them.

I used to be SO mean to Daniel Murphy. That guys doesn't have a bit of malice in his body. What a good guy.

Some of my best friends are Bixler, Swing dude, August and Reg. Each on of them I had a big fight with. Not much with Reg actually.

I told Bixler at one point that he likes to sodomize the dead bodies of children.

I had a multiple day fight with swing dude over spurs.

I told August (on youtube) that what he was showing was no big deal and showing biners for rigging might get someone hurt.

All of them where unscarred and we made up and became awesome friends.

Sorry for the derail.....

back to fighting now
 
I've been alerted by a friend to take a look at this.
Alas, I can download the thing but can't view it. I think I've seen it before though if I'm not mistaken.
HOWEVER...as a member and admin on a number of Facebook Tree Climbers groups, I can say with a completely straight face women are nowhere near the gold standard for whiny butthurt behaviour compared to a random group of tree guys. Sheesh.
 
Oh, yeah, when I ran this by my wife earlier today...... ( I've been sick for all of December and a total wreck.) My wife said, "by the way, I've been telling people all month that you have been a whiny little girl this entire month!"
 
In all seriousness though. I do get tired of petty and whiny behaviour being associated with women, especially when it's not even close to being true. I don't usually say anything for fear of being called the exact thing I say I'm tired of being called. There are bigger battles to be fought.

No doubt bigger battles. Men are sensitive as well ,just act like tough asses. Fight the fear and fight the power! Are we gonna start burning bras now.lol
I have to add I let my wife read this whole thread and that line out a Bix about burning bras had her laughing real good.
