how to get started?

Today I was sitting in my backyard reading and I glanced up at a large oak and thought "I'd like to climb that."

How do I get started in RTC?

That's a really good start. Tree Climber's companion is a good one.

If you are getting into Rec climbing - another great forum is the tree climbers coalition - check that out there are people from the ohio area and more.

there are several trainers out there also.
