Thanks Merle, I read the link, looks very interesting. I’ll try to contact you this weekend and see which Practioner you saw, looks like there’s only one close to me but several within sort of feasible driving distance
 
Find some local raw goat milk from someone who is allowing their goats to forage on things like poison oak and ivy. Seems to build up antibodies and can work wonders for those who have strong reactions to poison oak/ivy exposure.
 
Just for the mental exorcize of it, think about this. I once heard of a young girl in the UK who was "allergic" to water. Parents couldn't bath her, she didn't drink water without having a reaction.
