It appears many have fallen away from the true meaning of the period, Santas coming and Happy New Year. However the reason why Santa's coming has near been forgotten by many.
What is Christmas Day? It is the chosen day to celebrate the birth of our savior Jesus Christ. It is celebrated by many countries and even the toughest of atheists and agnostics actually recognize the day and exchange gifts and gratuity.
How ironic though, denounce the lord yet revel in celebration, rather psychotic but some appear to be delusional with their lives don't they MasterBlaster?
The avatar of the Pope is merely symbolic as a reminder of peace and prayer. I see the Pope as the pinnacle of religious celebration for Christians, the man means well and attempts to bring peace and love into this world of big business and war.
I believe I have a good "grip" Axeknot, and I encourage all to welcome the Lord Jesus Christ into your lives and live with some purpose and fulfillment, no-one escapes death, and no-one returns, so have your house in order for when the time comes to share in the glory of God.
I wanted to join the forum as I feel I would be of great service. I could sew a few seeds that may flourish and revitalize the forum, add some life and vigor, brighten the place up so to speak but it appears not as MasterBlaster prefers to keep me at arms length from his flock.
Such is life, do not be afraid MasterBlaster, I am far to busy a man to run a forum or make 1000 posts a week, but I have a keen eye for people in need and there are many who you allow to wither away, and die a spiritual death.
