Hot muffler for a 066?

It will work but why not just buy the dual port piece from Stihl its the same idea and just bolts on

I agree with Ed... just buy the factory dual port muffler cover. Easy peasy!

There is one availabale for the 044/440, 046/460, and the 066/660. The 044/440 and 046/460 take the same cover the 660/066 is a different cover.

440/460 cover part number 1128 140 0801

066/660 cover part number 1122 140 0800

Dont forget to richen up the carb 1/8 to 1/4 of a turn on the High jet after installing one of these covers.

Thanks Boston, I got the numbers written down, now all I have to do is get ambitious enough to get into that 46 and get it fixed, it has been sitting in the repair pile for almost a month now.

I can just hear it now when I give our Sthil dealer the part number. " What do you need that for " They are very laid back and conservative. Probaly don't even know what a dual port muffler is.

Best part about my Stihl dealer supporting local loggers, is that he knows all about these type of "mods" for the saws. They also offer "woods port" jobs and such as well. Guess I am spoiled.

Madsen's, and Wood's Logging Supply. Wood's is just up the road from me. Madsen's is about a 3 hour drive. I will usually visit them when I'm down at my Dad's place, since he is closer.
