Kickass! Breech at home is hardcore, sounds uncomfortable to say the least. My kiddo got a new cousin, Atticus, early this morning (not at home due to preeclampsia). My midwife wife stayed throughout as support.

That's wonderful! My wife had preeclampsia last pregnancy. Birth is hardcore in general. Women are so metal. Lol

Such a joy to read these stories here.

I'm from the Netherlands and home birth is totally legal here (but less and less common). My first started at home, but ended in hospital, with some complications for me. My second was born at home, were a midwife attended the last 2 hours or so. The third (and last) was born at home unassisted.

Cool. Have you guys discussed using a birth pool?

We did pool in living room for #2. Was such a great tool to have around and really helped make for a "chill" birthing process. He was under water for a while just chilling then we finally took him out. I wasn't sure if something was wrong because he wasn't crying after taking him out but he was just so relaxed I guess..

All six of ours were water births. Five were born in our living room with a blow up birthing pool, but our first was born in a birthing center jacuzzi. My wife wouldn’t have it any other way.

#3 born like an hour ago.

Overdue by 3 weeks. Kay didn't feel good last night (like sick feeling). I was running errands today and splitting wood (big cold snap), I get home and she says hey I think I'm going into labor. Cleaned the house, midwives showed up, an hour later a baby was born. Lol.
