Well, there seems to have been a misunderstanding about the Hobbs Blocks from an earlier post that I made.
The Hobbs Blocks are STILL being made. I spoke with Don Blair (who owns the manufacturing rights) last week and he told me that the 5/8" and 3/4" Hobbs blocks have never gone out of production. The 1/2" and the 1" are the slowest sellers, so instead of placing blanket orders across the board, they are going to keep making the 1/2" and 1" blocks only in smaller quantities and less often.
I had personally heard it from WesSpur that no more Hobbs Blocks of any sizes were going to be made. That IS NOT the case, and I’m sorry for the confusion.
As soon as Don gets pre-orders for 10 blocks, they’ll go ahead and schedule a run of 1", but there will still be a 6-8 week lag on delivery once he places the order.
I would personally order from Don myself, but you can order from whomever you normally buy your Hobbs Blocks from I believe and ask them to contact Don if there’s a problem.
