Hitch Hiker II with holster

Location
Kentucky
I have a HitchHiker II for sale. I have used it only once and went with the HHx from Climbing Innovations. The HH2 comes with the steel carabiner, 9mm RIT and the plastic tending holster. Asking $120.00 plus $10.00 for shipping to the lower 48. Pm me or email at pmburesh@yahoo.com. I didn't include any pictures but you can go to Wesspur to look at it. You will get exactly what is pictured plus the holster.

Hey OldOakMan:

I chose the HHx over the HH2 for a couple of reasons. Number one, the HHx has an aluminum body for better heat transfer and is lighter. I use the 'innovation hitch' as my hitch of choice. Number 2, I use the slick pin instead of a carabiner to connect to the HHx makes for a faster hookup and/or changeover, see Richards video on this.

I don't know if the angle between the HH2 and the HHx are the same but when I descend on the HHx, it seems to be a lot smoother than the HH2. In both cases, your hitch needs to be retied after weighting to remove slack. I spent an entire day working with both, using different hitches, different cordage and even different climbing rope. For me, I use KMIII for my climb line, 9mm RIT with Innovation Hitch and slick pin instead of carabiner, man is it smooth.

Thanks. Richard is a good friend. I live about 2 hours from him. Some local boys want to do a semi organized rec climb here in early February and I have asked richard to come if he wants to. I'll have to give his a try then.
