Kevin Masters Arborist Services LLC is currently hiring qualified arborists. Applicant must have a valid drivers license (CDL a big plus) and professional experience in the field of arboriculture. Advanced training and credential achievement assistance is provided, but the applicant must have the proper prior experience. All qualified applicants will receive a quick reply and an interview. Qualified candidates for the climbing position will:
-Have tree climbing experience with ropes and saddles, and familiarity with ANSI approved equipment.
-Experience with operating aerial lift equipment (preferred but not mandatory).
-Be safety conscious, and be well versed in safe handling and use of chainsaws and other power equipment used in arboriculture.
-Be able to identify common Ohio tree species.
-Be ready to work outside all year round.
Candidates will:
-Be available to work Monday through Friday from 7am until the work load for the day is complete. (We very rarely work weekends, however it occasionally will happen if we've missed days for weather, or in the event of emergency work due to storms).
-Be prepared to work overtime when necessary.
-Have a valid driver's license reliable transportation to and from the company shop located near Grandview.
-Be a team player, working well with others. Conducting themselves in a professional manner at all times.
-Be interested in arboriculture as a career field, showing aptitude and interest toward advancing their career in the field.

-High quality equipment. Your own saddle, chainsaw, tools, etc. Spider lift, bucket truck, grapple truck, self feed chipper, Stihl saws.

-Training in all fields of commercial/residential arboriculture(both in house through the year, and quarterly from nationally recognized training contractors).
-Safety training(including CEU credits from ISA).

We work all year round in both beautiful and inclement weather.
Employees are paid every two weeks by direct deposit.

ISA certification,
TCIA accreditation,
formal education (forestry, horticulture, botany, etc),
pesticide applicator's license,
and/or CDL may receive preference.
