Some years back we burned all wood on a bankside of a railway. We stapled all wood on big piles and used tyres and diesel/oil mix to light it. At that time we had two "dumb" workers that had only to fire up all wood all day....
How you think they start a fire?
Ok,
one is low on the bankside under the pile making fire inside a tyre.
The other is high above the pile trowing a bucket with 2-stroke gasoline into the pile.....
So the started fire at the bottom became very fast very big
One guy walked away with less hair as he came that morning.
Do you think they learned a lesson?
/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif,
The next day they fired up some more piles of wood.
One (the same as previous without some hair) was low starting fire.
He saw his mate at the high side of the pile with a bucket.
He shouted to him "dont trow that gasoline"
The guy shouted back "its no gasoline its old engine oil with diesel"
And he trew that bucket with oil/diesel down on the pile and over his mate....
So that day we came with a white guy and went home with a black guy....
For the rest we had big fun at that work. We used a old spraytank with pistol sprayers and diesel/oil to burn the brambels down. It looked like a war zone and flames rising up for 10-15 meters and still trains were passing that route

We were told by (very angry)police/fireman that showed up that flames were sucked into the trains when passing with open windows.
We burned fire for about 5 weeks and only the last day with two piles to go we were ordered to stop or get a fine for open fire /forum/images/graemlins/9lame.gif
