oh they are really strong. the upper fronds around the terminal bud area are really strong.

i golf alot at that course actually i can walk to the course with my clubs. i cut through the field infront of my house. my last game was an 86.

The coconut fronds are super strong but be careful with only tying into one; you can do a lot of damage to one from the friction coming down. I'll usually tie into at least two, but the best is to use an AFC or ropeguide if you have one.
