OK,
So here is a dead tree we brought down for a guy in January.
Now you can all show your wives what its like to be up there!!!!

I tried to show my wife a video like that of me doing a similar size pine takedown, she didn't really say much apart from commenting on my contorted facial expressions when I was making cuts with the chainsaw.
She did not seem that impressed, I actually felt pretty de-moralised after that and havent bothered to video any more jobs. I think she maybe doesn't want to know what I do every day. It just worries her.
Anyway, I thought the video was excellent, good job! done many like that myself. Although these days I almost always looking for the fell at ground level option when it comes to trees like that.
When i saw that you had tied into that other adjacent tree I thought thats good, but you know...when you see the pendulum swing that your gonna take, wrecking ball style into that tree if the oak you were in failed it makes you wonder if it is that much safer. I try to tie in to two trees near the dead one, one each side, but you cant always do this.
Was that a MS230? or MS240? good saws for sure.
Well done again!
