Let me tell you, i ever catch one of your boys rooting through my truck and walking off with one of my saws, i won't be as lenient as our gf, i'll cut his hands off. or we stole an employee from you?
we have two former Asplunhd employees who contacted us we didn't "steal them"
If one of my guys went into your truck and stole a saw I need to know about it so I can fire him.

I am having trouble with your stories, last time u said ur boss wanted nothing to do with us because of reading od's posts, and he heard bad things about us... now your saying we stole from u.
if I caught someone from another company stealing from us I would deff let the owner of the company know he has a thief working for him, seems fishy to me.
When was this? Where was it? If you give me a date and location I can figure out exactly who it was. This is a very serious allegation, it would help if you weren't being so cryptic

Boy, you really are dumb, gf stands for general foreman, who was on the site at the time and handled the problem. You call them managers, i guess. And we aren't based out of Massachusetts, home office is in ny with a half dozen satellites. We contract crews to outfits in mass for certain jobs.

As for the boss hearing bad things, look at post 4202 in the what did you do thread at the other place. Direct quote from that post:

A few weeks after this no from the boss, got what the problem was from the gf that was on site. One of your guys was caught stealing and when the gf called it in, my boss called your shop and got blown off. Yeah, well run outfit you got there. The incident was a couple years ago, but your past speaks for itself. So yeah, your company name is known around here and not respected.

Please have your boss or the gf call 781-860-9618 ask for david, I would like to clear up the confusion here. We have never had a report of theft ever by anyone. If we ever were to get such a call and find it to be true not only would the employee be fired but we would insist on charges being filed and assist in the prosecution.
There must be a mix up with the company names.
 
beowulf, these kinds of accusations really shouldn’t be made on a public forum, until both parties have all the facts straight.

None of my business, but it really isn’t good practice to go around slandering a business, or a person’s name, without full knowledge of the incident. Marquis is considered top notch around here, as is Mayer.

Now that you’ve brought this out in the public, please find out from all the people involved what actually transpired, so we can figure this out.

So you use subcontractors in the boston area?
Did this incident involve one of your companies crews or a subcontractor's crew?
 
Its funny how stories get out of hand when they are coming from an anonymous source. Just found that picture you sent justin awhile back... you remember "brushed out, wood on the ground in two and a half hours on to the next job". (With the 75 ton link belt)...

I am sure William worked real hard over the past 35 years to build his company, think he would like to know what you have been saying? More importantly what you said he said...

I never paid much attention to your other posts and marquis hatred, just typical internet banter, but accusing us of employing theifes and looking the other way went too far. just admit in this public forum that you made the whole thing up and I wont call
 
Fair enough, i made the whole thing up. Everything i've said on this forum and the other has been made up. I've never climbed a tree, i'm just an office manager. That company just happens to be one i found on the internet, and i've never had any dealing with them in any shape or form, other than using that picture when i needed one.
I'm a disturbed individual who obviously needs mental help. I enjoy my fantasy treeman life more than my actual life.
Sorry about the false accusation. Marquis is and has been the pinnacle of the tree industry.

lol....wulfy been round the forum circuit for years and everybody been round knows that. he's a treeman, not an actor. don't know what's up with the theft story but he just prob fed up like I am with a little banty rooster struttin round thumpin his chest that he is the best and got the best stuff and does all the best stuff, etc etc when he just been on the forums for a minute and does the same stuff everyone else does.

I don't know tv...there were all ways big holes in his stories. I thought he was a tree guy...just a tree guy with a very over active imagination.

I don't think I have ever said we were the best. I have been very fortunate to work on some very cool projects with some very nice toys, I am sorry you take offense to me sharing these experiences.

John marquis has a 4 year degree in urban forestry and a 2 degree in arborculture from Umass.

We have 3 MA Ca's who have and do work with us part time when we need them.

As for me its rather pathetic that I am not at this point im my career. I have read a bunch of books, been to the Umass extension green school but haven't taken the test. Not making excuses. I am working on it, funny u asked now about a month ago I decided it was time and pulled books out and started getting ready for an upcoming test
