Have my first crane job today

We sent justin and a ground guy down with one of our 75' alllwheel drive rear mounts and a chip truck and chipper to meet up with robs crew. It was really tough to send a crew out when a storm was hitting us at home...but its central park.

"We sent Justin...."

Are you Justin's boss?

Weird question tv, thought we have already been over this. Not sure why u have a tough time with the concept of a Mananger. Things are very different when there are more then two people who make up a company. I am not saying there is anything wrong with a one crew company, just different. I honestly thought u were talking about your general manager every time u said "your gm" in your posts. Justin had a good laugh over that one.

I guess I would be put in my place....if I didn't make gobs more money than you do.

Simple question....still no answer.

(a) Yes I am Justin's boss.

(b) No I am not Justin's boss.

Multiple choice help son?

Not asking if you are a "Mananger" either lol.

Yes it could, but OD will have to chime in directly for that to happen.

Anyway, quick question, absolutely NO disrespect or pot stirring or weird agenda here, just a question: it is amazing to me that central park doesn't have somebody more local than guys in the Boston area to do their storm work. Again, MORE POWER TO YOU FOLKS FOR NAILING DOWN SUCH A CONTRACT! Cudos and hats off to you and your sales team, etc, definitly. but even understanding how qualified you guys are, still amazing that no one else more proximal is handling it.

well 2 years ago there was a storm at the park, there was 4 companys down there. they called us to come and get it done .mayer and marquis have made a name for our self for being production companies. from the ice storm we had up here and the alb contract. when they call we bring top notch guys and the best equipment. we get there work done SAFE,FAST,no if ands or buts!

You really make me laugh tv.
If you are looking for a simple answer, Yes I am.
Good for u for making "gobs more money" then me, you do have 20-30 years on me tough guy, you might be surprised by my financial situation. I don't know what u were up too when you were my age, don't really care. I love my job, I make good money (IMO..the only one that matters), every year I have grown intellectually and financially. I am happy, if I every stop learning and growing then it will be time do something else.
whats ur issue with my position in the company?
Sorry about the spelling mistake, DROID auto fill does some weird things.
We should end this nonsense before your boy tom steps inagain to try and get this completely derailed thread back on track

I bought my 22101S from a guy who ran a crane service in NYC for years. He said it was a great market to operate in IF you had connections and of course knew who and what agency to make nice too. It sounds like you guys are "in" with the right people there. Not to mean you didn't earn it fair and square, I get that, but working there must require some political skills no doubt beyond most others on this site. So....who you paying off? JUST KIDDING!!

well i dont know what to tell yea on that one. but when you hold the contract for one of the biggest jobs (alb) yea can really get and do a kick job the usda and others know who to call when the work needs to get done.

How long did it last when you were mowing down as many infected trees as fast as possible, every day?

Rob and I did some crazy stuff in those five months, it seems like there isn’t a single flat setup in Worchester, and driving around in the snow and ice was a good time. We ended up with tire chains on everything. It was wild, the usda doesn’t care where the tree is, or how hard it is to get too, if its infested its coming down, whatever it takes.
Courierguy, remember we are talking about the central park conservatory; they are their own world inside of the city, they just want to work done and done right. I am sure the construction crane world in NYC is totally a “who you know business”.

Surprised you can bid on Govt. jobs without a CA on staff. Round here you can't and lots of municipalities are banning companies without a CA from even working in their towns thru ordinances.
