Wow; Thee Nightmare.
My first inclination was that if the loading and angle was right; then the crane was only as strong as the ground it stood on. But; at finish; it shows the start(?); then i think i see that the crane was reaching across it's short axis/ less leverage of support (and ballast weights to side rather than rear); than if it was reaching over it's long axis; with the crane at rear and feets out front and more weight plates perhaps behind crane as ballast.
i've had guys argue in makeshift stuff that the gin should be close to the laod and to give the ballast weights more leverage; but i consider the compression side as double loaded; and the leverage of length should favour to it IMLHO.
Hope there were no injuries other than P&P (pocketbook and pride).
