Handsaw on leg vs. saddle

I've been using my new sugoi with the leg scabbard and have had all the problems mentioned earlier in this thread. It's a matter of adapting a bit much like everything else. I've started to switch between the two positions depending on how open the tree is. It's nice having the option.

The other climbers I'm working with don't use handsaws at all so I'm a bit of an anomaly there.

on the hip i dont even care wich side if i get into position to cut left handed I just move it to that side to make sure i can holster quicker if need be

i really like the silky Kamisorime been using it for a year now dont like the scabbard though so it is in an old leather scabbard i found in the shed

I love the silky zubat as well for smaller wood the scabbards for every one of our zubats are broken were the clip with that loop clips into the scabbard

I hope Silky will keep working out their scabbard designs and materials they use.

I wonder who first used a leg scabbard for his handsaw in the trees?

Someone should ask Don Blair that question, tell him "Dirty Harry" said hi.
