Hands On Crane Workshop

the weather isnt to bad . couple inches on the ground its going to be in the 50s this weeks we should be in good shape.
 
I am up against the boards now with this last storm. Just might make it through the cold winter months even with assless chaps. I really want to be at this workshop! Any room left?
 
Weather is going to be good from the looks of the extended forecast. 50's all week like GMK3055 said. Might be a bit soggy, I'd wear waterproof boots at the least?

by way of review - what to bring gear wise? just climbing gear and ropes? what about saws, chaps, etc? am i missing anything?

Any climbing gear you will need to do crane picks with should come with you.

ALL PPE is mandatory to be worn while on the worksite at all times! Helmet, hearing protection, glasses, chaps/sawpants.

We will have Stihl saws to use while there, if you have a favorite saw that you just cant leave home without, by all means bring it along! More the merrier.
 
Ride to workshop

I am going to be staying in Wenham and am wondering if anyone who is going to the workshop is near there or will drive by there on the way to the workshop. Or if I could get a ride from the Ipswich train station the mornings of the workshop that would be great too. Crane estate shuttle service anyone?

Oh and what length rope should I bring?

Well up against the fence turned into way too busy to make the workshop. It's all good though, I needed the extra to cover the cost of the dingo and BMG. I hope I can make the next one wherever that may be!
 
Hey guys just signed up for the buzz, been checking it out for a while. Great site! Heading down for the crane course, looking forward to meeting everyone.
 
I'm sure a few enough are crazy enough for some of that
