Guess what I’m building?

Much to my disappointment and we did not quite finish the job. I have to go take down trees. But, when I get done this afternoon we will finish her up. I’ll take some pictures once The sun comes up

That is wonderful.
A trailer just for equipment is basically pointless when you could be hauling it on the truck.

What are those little service truck cranes that you see on medium duty trucks rated to lift? I need one of these things for the mini.

Using the crane to work on the crane - is that cheating, or technological leapfrogging? Whatevs, Great move!

Wish I could post pics. Didn’t work. Too steep. Gonna have to take some lean out of that dovetail. Wish I would have thought to let my air out when measuring. Duh! Changes the whole approach angle

Are you hitting on the underside of the machine you're loading? If so, could you arch, instead of just angling, the dovetailed section? I had that happen with a ramp for getting a bike into a truck bed. PITA, but arching it fixed it.

Or, if it's too steep for the machine to manage the grade, how about winching it up the ramp?

Just noodling and kibitzing here...

I could just load it with the crane. I want fast and safe. It will load, it’s just steeper than I want it to be. After realizing I screwed up and didn’t account for the fact I could drop the air, I decided to redo it. Since I can get a better angle I will.
