Has anyone ever growth regulated leyland cypress? I inherited a row of 20 when we bought out house and they have reached the size needed to serve purpose (privacy screen). I really dont want to hedge them, and a couple uproot every year during high winds when the soil is saturated. So I figure the growth regulator would help the root system establish as well as control size.

Any thoughts?

Tom, Thats what I'm leaning towards. The cambistat dosage/species lists "cypress" but not specific species of cypress. I'll call rainbow this week to see if there should be any concerns. I don't think cambistat works as well on evergreens for some reason, but maybe I just dreamed that up one day?

I'm going to try applying it with a kioritz to avoid measuring 20 times, seems like it should be a good tool for cambistat applications.

Thanks for you reply
