grizzly splice

Maybe I missed the thread on this topic but it seems like you guys would be all over this fascinating new technique. Anyone got any rants or raves concerning Sherrills latest offering? I really like how they can get a nice splice on KMIII for a lanyard or any other previously "unspliceable" cordage I suppose.

I dont think this is that new, Petzl has used stitched terminations comparable to the "grizzly" for a while now.

It's not new, but Sherrill having it and being able to put it on almost anything IS new. I think it'll make good eye-eye hitch cords!

Raven, thanks for mentioning KMIII for a lanyard. I previously wondered why someone would want a splice in KMIII, and that is one good application where it WOULD be nice.
