grifola fondosa on chestut?

i took down a horse chestnut the other day. it had 3 visible diseases. honey fungus, phytophora, and a third which i needed to look up. it was an old fungus so wasnt that easy to id, but on site i thought it looked either like laetiporus sulphureus or gifola fondosa. it was a white rot so that eliminated the first one, but in my book it said grifola was almost confined to oak. has anyone encountered it on horse chestnut before?
