Great photo stitcher

Sweet! That's Hamilton Pool isn't it? That's a beautiful area around there. I went to Hamilton Pool during a freak cold snap once and there were icicles hanging all around the rim.

You nailed it Leon! Hamilton Pool. I had a German guest in town. That is one of my Austin tourist stops. I love all the vines and trees. The red buckeyes were in bloom.

This program is great! So many shots that i wouldn't be able to get even half in one shot i can still make happen. here's one from a few days ago. we were vista pruning for the client's home from where the shot was taken. the trees were in the neighbor's yard below the road, just behind our truck. a day and a half of re-topping conifers and almost nothing gained. strange. the client was ecstatic though, more money than...

This is a better stitching program than I was using. One thing that I've found that makes a better stitch is to overlap the pics about 1/3 on each side. When the pics are composed they can't be butted to each other or the software will leave stitch lines. one panorama I took in the mountains was close to 30 shots and it turned out beautifully. Also, include a lot of 'edge space' so that the curves can be cropped off.

I took a lot this sunday at a DAM release here in georgia - i forgot to get more air and sky - so a few are wanting for more detail. this is great - one with 11 shots and 2 with under that number

enjoy the pictures - if you want more of the dam release i can provide the links to the pictures

thanks for sharing this site.

Hey Mahk - being from roswell - you should go up to Tallulah next weekend (4/14-15) and watch - the Dam - Tallulah Gorge Dam is released of water 5 times a year. Water 500 cf to 700 cf is release to raise the level of the water in the gorge to allow for boaters, kayak or open canoe to run the section that are class 4 and class 5 rapids - I Volunteer each year and have a great time - here are more pictures of what it is like - since i do not boat that area - i only have stills and few videos which will be posted on u-tube and on my photo website - for all to view - i only have the launch area where the boaters put in to a class 4 rapid.

google - tallulah dam release and that will give you more information.

if you want to visit the photo site i can provide the links - lots of boating and a little but of tree climbing on there also
