Great Deal!

"From the discount code they sent me: "This coupon can not be combined with any other sales, offers or promotions."

So applies to everything so long as it's not already on sale.

And might I add that THIS is the real Black Friday deal to be had. Bartlett definitely doesn't have as deep a selection as the Big Three, but it's more than respectable and you can get 35% off nearly everything!"

My response:

Which means you might also be unable to use those discounted gift certificates at the same time as the 10% off promotion. It sounds like it is an either/or proposition. The gift certificates might also be an actual physical card with a code on it, which you would have to wait to arrive in snail mail before you could actually use it.

10% off at Bartlett's might be the best one can do before the sale ends at midnight Monday.

You're partially correct in that you have to order the gift certificates first in a separate order and then do the 10% off once you have them, but it's still worth it. The 10% isn't a Black Friday deal, it's just a regular promotion they do from time to time. This one is good until Dec. 15.

I think I'll be selling:
A brand new MCRS for $450
A brand new rope runner for $300
A brand new APTA for $175
A brand new lime Kask with Bluetooth installed for $300
A brand new climber joe arborist action figure for... A little more than Treestuff is selling them for. Oh wait, I let it slip. I hope you don't make the connection that Treestuff is having a huge sale and I am trying to make some money off it...

Or you could buy all of that and even more for even a greater discount at: https://www.treestuff.com

Happy Holidays everyone and thanks TreeStuff, for everything!
I should add that I will not be thinking about selling any of these items after midnight tomorrow 11/30/15. Just thought I should clarify. :D

There is still time...Just give me your shipping address before hand so when I order it from TreeStuff :inocente: I can get them to send it right to you. That way I won't have to pay shipping either.

Thanks for this response, Boomslang. So you are thinking that Bartlett will actually honor both the discounted gift certificates and the 10% off of everything deal at the same time. I guess that was my point, that these are two separate promotions, and therefore not able to be combined. Having said that, if I were Bartlett, I would not want to risk ticking off a possible brand-new first time customer who has just received our gift cards from a friend, and who knows nothing about the steep discount already given on the sale of the gift cards.

So your diabolical plan might actually work. It might really be possible to get a Rope Runner for about $235.00, if I'm doing the math right. I had forgotten that the discount on the whole site was 10%, not 15%. 10% off of $350 is $35, which brings it down to $315.00. Buying four gift cards worth $100 each will cause you to use up three of them to hit the $300 mark, at a cost of $225. Using the last one to pay the remaining $15 on the bill will leave you with a gift card with $85 worth of value still on it. I think the actual cost of the $15 remainder might be about $11.25. Which would bring the final cost up to $236.25, assuming no taxes need to be paid.

Pretty interesting stuff. I'm on the move too much of late to be able to take advantage of this deal, but maybe some other Buzzer's will be helped by this information.

TreeStuff's price drop on the Rope Runner comes pretty close to the best I could do at Bartlett's if I managed to jump through all of those hoops, so if I decide to get one anytime soon, I'll just stick with TreeStuff.

Thanks again for bringing this deal, and Bartlett's, to our attention.

I bought $889 worth of stuff for $600 from Bartlett last night. Can confirm this is the best deal to be had. Period.
