Old threads on this topic showed a military surplus box that was strong enough to hold the GRCS disassembled (metal?). And long enough to house winch bar.

Sidebar - did you see Muggs video, recently posted, that showed Milwaukee M18 Hole Hawg lifting close to 1000 lbs using the GRCS while the ??? lifted close to 2K?

I wonder what the dewalt Milwaukee comparison is I've got Milwaukee stuff used to have makita years ago but the batteries kept crapping out they've since fixed the issue but I switched companies, one of the other guys has dewalt and can get a pretty big discount on their tools.

in germany you can buy square mortar crates/totes. lots of people will attach ropes to them snd drag them around like a sled.

We had a local shop build 2 aluminum boxes for ours…and the bar then links them together. I will get some pics later.

I try to reuse things I already have and I like how this one turned out. Plus, it's in the right order for setup. A ratchet strap holds the GRCS frame on top of the Craftsman rolling case. 1) Remove ratchet strap and place it on the tree. 2) Hang the GRCS frame on the strap for easy attachment to tree. 3) Open rolling case which holds winch and bollard, and rope for redirect, if needed. The tightening bar fits perfectly in one of the fair leads with just the right amount of friction that it doesn't move when rolling around the case.
