LOL X...
I worked a little while with tree slayer last year..
this was his first day on the job...
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=plEfr6XGZd4
and https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gKXYtFJxYFo
and this was his second:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mIR_TVqDyj4
by day 3 he asked for a lesson in tree falling...
16 years of tree work, 20 hurricanes, worked with over 100 different crews including with people like Joey Cornell, Chad Brey, Lance Wallace, John Paul Sanborn.. And he had never seen anything like it...
Cuts like the ones in those videos that you think are "risky shortcuts" are just another job to me.. and not just me, its no big deal to my whole crew.. dave thought I was crazy at first too, until he saw how relaxed the crew was.. That's when the lightbulb went off.. "hey maybe I have something to learn here".. and learn he did, cause he can do it too now..
So maybe it does take seeing it in person to really understand what is possible in this biz... Once you actually see what is possible, its not that far of a stretch to think "I can do it too". And I'd have told you how if you just asked and treated me with a little respect.. But you all were too busy acting like azzholes to try to learn anything...
After all these vids though, its a wonder the light bulb hasn't gone off yet for you, though maybe in a way your mind is starting to open a little.. You think my stuff was really rough and risky years go, but it hasn't changed a bit.. Only thing that changed was your thinking... go back and look at some of those old videos and you'll see... None of them are any big deal... Maybe you are stating to pick up a little, even if you won't admit it.. Its just not quite as far over your head as it used to be...
.............. what's that I hear............
.......... it the sound of Tom locking this thread up too LOL..........
