We have finally decided we will be buying a chip truck/grapple combo probably from timberland trucks...........so the question is, would it be worthwhile to spend the money and get the truck as a hooklift? We are a smaller co but I wonder if by doing that we will be reading one truck too thin.
Right now we bring our bucket, a chip truck and another truck and machine when we need to load out big wood. The goal is obviously to be more efficient and do the chipping and wood removal with one truck.
My thought is that if we had a couple additional boxes, we could drop them on other jobs to direct load into, etc. thoughts?
Thanks for any input,
Jason
