Good deal or bad one

I find it amazing that while we all deplore getting our and our friends equipment stolen, many of us feel it is alright to purchase obviously stolen equipment. Three 200Ts for $350! Unless they had been run over by a truck or dropped out of a tree from great height - they were hot!

It is a shame that you think like that. You should grow up and maybe ask for the phone number of the saw shop.In my eyes your a JACK A_ _.GROW UP

Don't pay any attention to these guys. They are just bitter they didn't get the deal themselves. What is the phone number of the saw shop? I need a MS200 myself.

Dan

Who did ever get a deal like that at a saw dealership? it smells, period. So tell us, whats the part you get 3 saws for almost half the price one new? You asked us what we think, and some told you so, dont whine if you cant take it.

Ronald

In this thread you claim to have bought 3 saws for $350 cash. I take that to mean you gave whoever $350 and whoever gave you 3 saws. While in the MS 200 thread you are talking about 1 saw for $350 cash. So which is it. If it is $350 per saw, I apologize - If it was 3 saws for $350, I don't.

ps I'm probably old enough to be your elder uncle and you should have used you're instead of your.

Each saw was 350.00 with a 12 inch bar and the 14 inch stock bar too.I was just putting this on the board to see if any one was interstead in any,I never thought that it would have got any type of feed back like this.I thought that we where all men in here not childern.People should know peoples back rounds before they put that type of comments on the buzz board.Tree work is my 7am to 2:30 pm job and then I work 3pm till midnight at my other job.So show some respect.I fight crime I dont promote it.

Thank you !!!!!!!!!!!!
Richard.

Anytime you can legally get a $500+ saw for $350, you done good!

I wish I could be so lucky.

Two years ago my local Stihl dealer was vandalized and the entire showroom stock of saws - including five 200's from the stock room - were stolen. The owners of this biz, also a Ford/NewHolland and Case/International dealership, are exceptional people, treating their employees with the highest respect and promoting wonderful customer service. One of the partners died recently from cancer treatments and at his funeral I talked with the detective assigned the case. He was clueless to date and had spent little - if any - time on recovery or investigation. Figures, he's a Bush fanatic thinking himself a front-line vangaard against Islamic terror. In other words a complete idiot.

I'd like to read the serial numbers of saws posted for sale, or if we could mandate these numbers to be shown it would be good for us, the true owners, and our industry. If there is no reason to hide numbers, then no harm done.

Just a little two cent's worth of opinion.

I picked up 3 ms 200 t"s for 350.00 cash what do you all think.

You should have known better to inform us propperly and correctly. At least you could explained the cost 350$ a piece and that you were willing to sell off some items. Your issue about knowing each others backgrounds, not valid IMO as this is a public forum and who knows all visitors and subscribed members? So be aware what to write and how to write it.

Youre welcome,

Ronald

we're not all men here, mature or immature. and what does maturity have to do with it anyway? if you want specific feedback ask for it. if you want to sell something why not try treebay?

It's been a rough post for you. Don't give up. It's a great site and the local buzzers are a very passionate bunch. Unfortunatly today many automatically assume a great deal is a dishonest deal. You know the background of the deal. $350 per saw could be terriffic or lousy depending on the usage etc. good luck on the sale. treebay is a great spot for that.
